Curcumin 95 is highly concentrated in polyphenols known as curcuminoids, which are lipid soluble antioxidants found in the spice turmeric. Curcumin and its metabolites support antioxidant status to minimize oxidative stress.

Different Between Turmeric and Curcumin:

Turmeric is a popular root/spice, and curcumin is a highly potent chemical in turmeric. Curcumin and the curcuminoids are present in turmeric at around 22.21-40.36mg/g in the rhizomes and 1.94mg/g in the tuberous roots, so turmeric is less potent as a source of curcumin than an extract and anti-inflammatory. 

The major problem with standard powdered Curcumin supplements is the low absorption rates after oral consumption.
